Dr Mohd Fuad Abdullah

Dr. Muhammad Fuad Abdullah, a distinguished academic, brings with him three years of teaching experience at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, where he specializes in Economic Development, socio-economic studies, poverty, humanities, and community development. His research delves into the nuanced exploration of leveraging poverty studies within the rural-urban community context, with a particular focus on sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Presently, Dr. Muhammad Fuad holds the position of Head of Community and Business Development at the Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainable Development (IBSD) at UiTM. In this capacity, he is actively supervising two Ph.D. students conducting research on topics related to community development and SDGs. Additionally, he has secured a substantial research fund amounting to RM643,100.20 to further advance initiatives addressing community well-being and sustainable development.

Dr. Muhammad Fuad is committed to ESG compliance, aligning his research and initiatives with principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance responsibility. His scholarly contributions extend to over 32 publications in indexed journals, peer-reviewed articles, and conference presentations, underscoring his notable expertise in the fields of community development and sustainable development goals. This commitment reflects a holistic approach to addressing societal challenges, promoting positive change, and ensuring ESG considerations in academic and research endeavors.
